NICE PEOPLE AT WORK integrates YOUBORA Analytics with iROKOtv

iROKOtv, the leading provider of online African audiovisual content, has selected NICE PEOPLE AT WORK´s technology to better analyze and optimize its user experience

BARCELONA, Spain – March 2015 – NICE PEOPLE AT WORK (NPAW), the technology leader in audience, quality of service and engagement analytics is working with iROKOtv to provide intelligent real-time data analytics that will allow iROKOtv to make informed, strategic decisions for the global expansion of their video services.

iROKOtv is a top provider and distributor of Nollywood content and offers a wide variety of the most popular movies and TV series, available on various connected devices. Through the use of YOUBORA Analytics, iROKOtv will be able to collect data to understand which content users engage with the most, assess key quality metrics such as join time, buffer rates and bitrates, and also track the CDN and ISP delivery performance for their content. iROKOtv will also be able to  gain insight into the platforms and devices trending with their end-users.

“We know how important and challenging it is nowadays to satisfy the modern user’s expectations for live and VOD experiences. This is why we offer our customers an advanced, centralized optimization platform like YOUBORA Analytics to allow them a complete view into the interaction and perception of their content by end-users, and to provide a mechanism to gain control over their user’s quality of experience,” says NPAW’s CEO, Ferran Gutiérrez.

iROKO TV is available in 178 countries around the world and will be expanding into new markets. “When a company prepares for expansion, it becomes critical for popular services like iROKO to guarantee a TV-quality of service, regardless of the end-user’s device and means for connectivity. Insights from YOUBORA Analytics will provide the basis to allow for high growth and scalability and we look forward to growing with them,” says Gutiérrez.

Sherra Pierre-March, CTO of IROKOtv says: “We’re very excited to be working with NPAW – their real-time analytics will be mission critical in helping us to continue to improve our service to our customers all around the world.
