Ooyala selects YOUBORA by NPAW to optimize live streaming TV platform

The move strengthens existing NPAW-Ooyala Partnership

NEW YORK, New York – April 25, 2017 – NPAW (Nice People At Work), the most advanced and holistic big data and business intelligence company, and Ooyala, a global provider of video monetization technology and services, further their existing partnership by integrating YOUBORA by NPAW with Ooyala Live, its live streaming TV platform. The action will pair the superior publishing and monetization competencies of Ooyala technologies with the cutting edge business intelligence only available from NPAW.

Ooyala will utilize YOUBORA real-time insights as an internal tool to maximize the performance of customer’s experiences with its premium live-streaming platform. Empowered with the flexibility of NPAW’s interface and holistic SmartModules, Ooyala will benefit from more advanced business intelligence with YOUBORA’s quality of experience (QoE) data to ensure buffer-free and uninterrupted streams for live events and OTT channels. The announcement comes amid the rapid transition from conventional pay TV formats to a more efficient digital ecosystem. Now more than ever before, the insights compiled and computed by YOUBORA are critical in providing premium QoE insights whilst optimizing platform performance efficiencies.

“The quality of experience for any live stream is paramount in order to achieve the greatest reach, return and reduce drop-offs, regardless if it’s a sports match, newscast or live concert,” said Ooyala Co-Founder and SVP of Products and Solutions, Belsasar Lepe. “With NPAW’s YOUBORA analytics, we can now monitor streams proactively to catch and fix any issues before they happen, ensuring the best experience for our customer’s viewers.”

“What is more exciting than partnering with Ooyala? Having them trusting our solution for their own live streaming platform,” said NPAW CEO and Co-Founder Ferran Gutierrez. “Pairing the behavioral analysis metrics and quality monitors collected by YOUBORA will be invaluable to the best functioning of the Ooyala Live platform.”

NPAW and Ooyala will be exhibiting and available to meet at the NAB Show.
